REFUND/RETURN POLICY

GENERAL

All sales are final. The Speaker Port does not issue refunds, or accept returns or exchanges for any reason unless the item the consumer purchased is defective in relation to what was stated in the item description.
Used, refurbished, or restored items The Speaker Port sells are tested and verified to be in good working condition before the items are available for purchase.
Any statements made about things like sound or picture quality or value are completely the opinion of The Speaker Port and in no way represent a guarantee or statement of fact.
The purchase of an item means that the buyer has read, understood and agrees to all the terms and conditions detailed in the item description as well as our policies, terms, and agreements.
Any issues or imperfections will be clearly stated in the description and pictures. This includes physical, electrical or operational condition. Regarding physical condition, The Speaker Port provides detailed pictures, so please be sure to view these carefully to determine if any imperfections are significant enough to be a deciding factor for a buyer's purchase.

DEFECTIVE ITEMS

If a buyer receives a defective item, the buyer will have 30 days from obtaining possession of the item to contact The Speaker Port via phone (815-221-9252) or email (info@thespeakerport.com) with details of the product as well as the defect and The Speaker Port will address the complaint appropriately, as well as to determine if the item needs to be brought or shipped back to The Speaker Port for inspection. If necessary, upon receipt of the returned product, The Speaker Port will fully examine it and notify the buyer, within a reasonable period of time, whether the buyer is entitled to a refund or a replacement as a result of the defect.
If the defect can be remedied, The Speaker Port will contact the buyer for pick up or will ship it back to the buyer when complete and no replacement or refund will be issued.
If the issue cannot be remedied and The Speaker Port determines that the buyer is entitled to a replacement or refund, The Speaker Port will replace the product or refund the purchase price to the buyer.
For any new, 3rd party products that are still sealed in their original OEM packaging are assumed to be in perfect working condition. The Speaker Port will not open these packages to test them or evaluate their contents for any reason. The Speaker Port assumes no responsibility for the operational condition of such items and are offered “as-is” and no refunds or exchanges will be issued for any reason.

SHIPPING

Unless otherwise specified in the listing, The Speaker Port does not insure or take responsibility for any time after it is shipped. The carrier used for shipping may offer insurance by default, however, The Speaker Port is not associated with any policies or insurance with these carriers. The Speaker Port does not add additional shipping features such as signature requirement, or increased carrier insurance coverage. If the buyer prefers to have any additional features, it is the buyer's responsibility to request it and there will be additional costs associated with them.
If an item is lost or damaged in shipping, a claim is to be filed with the shipping carrier to search for the item or to retrieve the covered amount by the insurance associated with the shipping of that specific item.
